You may be aware that Councillor Graham Lenihan sadly passed away on Friday 30th November, after a short illness. We send our sincere condolences to his wife and family, and hold them in out thoughts at this difficult time.
Graham was elected onto the Parish Council in May 2011 and sat on most of the Council’s committees during his two terms of office. He had a warm personality, an affable nature and a great sense of humour and was always ready to volunteer for Council duties.
Graham was involved with a number of Village groups including the Goostrey Parish Archive Group and the Gooseberry Society.
He will be greatly missed by us all.
Graham’s family has asked that we publish the date and time of the funeral which will take place on 11th December 2018 at 11.00am at St Luke’s Church, Goostrey.
Everyone is welcome to attend the funeral and after at the Crown to raise a glass to Graham and bid him a fond farewell.
