Recently Friends of Goostrey Station’s photo, with the caption Keeping Up Appearances was shortlisted for an award in the Cheshire Best Kept Station competition. The theme was Brightening Up Our Station. The same photo has also been shortlisted by Community Rail and the the theme of their photo competition was Capturing the Essence of Community Rail. In both cases the winner will be chosen through a public vote.
