His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, K.G., K.T.

Goostrey PDuke of Edinburgharish Council is saddened by the death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh.  Our condolences are extended to Her Majesty The Queen and all members of the Royal Family and the Royal Household.  Public mourning is currently restricted by the Corona virus pandemic, but the Parish Council has made an entry in the online Royal Book of Condolence.  Parishioners who would also like to make an entry can find the Book at this link https://www.royal.uk/

Over the course of his remarkable life, His Royal Highness was associated with 992 organisations, either as President, Patron, Honorary Member or in another capacity, with special interests in scientific and technological research and development, the welfare of young people, education, conservation, the environment and the encouragement of sport.
