NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD & FOOTWAY CLOSURE
S14 (2) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic and pedestrians in the following length of road:-
Prohibition of Traffic-
Main Road, Dane Valley Ward, Holmes Chapel, CW4 8 from the junction with Fieldside Close to outside number 67.
The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Main Road, Goostrey Lane, Knutsford Road, Twemlow Lane, Station Road
Prohibition of Pedestrians-
Main Road, Dane Valley Ward, Holmes Chapel, CW4 8 from outside number 134 to outside number 92
The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Footway Shearbrook Lane to Main Road, Shearbrook Lane, Willow Lane, Mill Lane

The closure is necessary to enable Scottish Power to replace overhead lines and poles.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on the following date(s): Monday 19th October 2020 between times 09:30-14:30.
This notice will become operative on Monday 19th October 2020 for a period of 5 days or for such less time as is necessary to enable the works to be completed.
