Station Road Closed from 12th March for up to 21 Days for Drainage Improvement Works

Station Road, Dane Valley WardHolmes ChapelCW4 8QZ from Church Bank to Red Lion Public House will be closed from Monday 12th March at 7.00am Monday 12th March 2018 to 6pm onWednesday 21st March 2018 however it could take up to 21 days for the works to be completed.

CEC Highways have agreed to keep the roadway access from Church Bank to the entrance to the Red Lion Car Park so that people attending the event at the Church on Monday 12th can use the Red Lion Car park.  However, the road will be closed again from Tuesday 13th March at 7.00am.

At this stage we are unaware of the change to the 319 Bus Route but we will add this information when it is available.  We also understand that the School Buses will have some arrangement for access.

The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Main Road, Goostrey Lane, Knutsford Road, Twemlow Lane, Station Road

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.

The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out drainage improvments.

This notice will become operative on Monday 12th March 2018 for a period of 21 days or for such less time as is necessary to enable the works to be completed, and may be extended by a further 21 days if necessary.
