An Emergency Bleed Kit has been installed alongside the defibrillator in the telephone kiosk on Main Road. The kit contains special dressings and bandages designed to seal wounds and control serious bleeding along with clear, basic instructions. The vital few minutes after an injury or wound occurs are often paramount in preventing death in cases of severe bleeding. The kit is designed for use under 999 guidance until the emergency services arrive, no training or previous experience is necessary. Developed with the support of the NHS and the emergency services, the kit is designed to include essentials for use by untrained members of the public.
