NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
S14 (2) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic in the following length of road:-
Booth Bed Lane, Dane Valley Ward, Holmes Chapel, CW4 8 from the junction with Eaton Lane to county boundary.
The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Booth Bed Lane, Main Road, New Platt Lane, Northwich Road, M6 From Knutsford Services To J18 S, M6 From J18 To Knutsford Services N, Holmes Chapel Road, Middlewich Road, Old Middlewich Road, Townfield Lane
Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Cyclists will be required to dismount in order for access to maintained. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
The closure is necessary for works to be carried out by Scottish Power.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on the following date(s): Monday 4th July 2022 to Friday 8th July 2022.
This notice will become operative on Monday 4th July 2022 for a period of 5 days or for such less time as is necessary to enable the works to be completed.
