Goostrey Parish Council wishes to announce that Sharon Jones, our Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer, has decided to leave the Council with effect from the end of February 2022, as she wishes to spend more time with her family.
The Council would like to thank Sharon for all the work she has carried out for the Council and Village Hall over the last eight and a half years and also for the very significant contribution she has made to helping the clubs, societies and wider community of Goostrey. Whilst the Council will of course be sorry to see Sharon leave, at the same time we wish her all the very best for the future. The Council will be advertising for a new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer later this year and arranging a handover period.
