One of the trustees for Goostrey Methodist Church has confirmed that the Post Office should not have announced an opening date for the new outreach service in launching its consultation. The church are not yet in a position to give an exact opening date for the new post office service, although they are making every effort to complete the work as soon as possible.
The Post Office have now been advised that the information they have sent out is incorrect.
The Parish Council will provide any further information in consultation with Goostrey Methodist Church and apologises for any confusion this has caused.
