NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
S14 (2) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic in the following length of road:-
Goostrey Lane, Dane Valley Ward, Holmes Chapel, CW4 8 from the junction with Knutsford Road to the junction with Hermitage Lane.
The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Knutsford Road, Twemlow Lane, Goostrey Lane, Station Road, Main Road

Pedestrian / cyclist access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible
The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out CCTV drainage investigation.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on the following date(s): Thursday 17th September 2020 to Monday 21st September 2020 between times 08:00-17:00 (excluding weekends).
This notice will become operative on Thursday 17th September 2020 for a period of 5 days or for such less time as is necessary to enable the works to be completed.
