As the country has now entered a period of state mourning for Her Majesty the Queen, the Village Hall Management Committee scheduled for Tuesday 13th September has been postponed. The Local Government Act 1972, s.243 excludes days appointed for public mourning from the calculation for the required 3 clear days notice for meetings and therefore this meeting will need to be rescheduled to take place after the official mourning period has ended. The new date will be publicised on the council website and on our notice boards at the Village Hall and at Bank View.
